Sustainable Lifestyles

Sustainable Lifestyles image. This page displays a collection of videos on green lifestyles and consumer choices. Our daily lives are an ongoing stream of choices. Viewed as a whole, and in combination with the similar choices made by our fellow citizens, they have huge environmental consequences — for good or for ill.

Lifestyle decisions that impact sustainability involve our jobs, housing, transportation, food, and other consumer decisions. Making sustainable lifestyle decisions does not have to be difficult or boring, but instead can be exciting and improve one's quality of life. In addition to helping the environment and benefiting future generations, going green has many direct benefits. For example, buying non-toxic cleaning products can improve your family's health and safety, and implementing home energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction can save money.
